The Board of Directors of Libbey announced that Stephanie Streeter, 53, has been appointed CEO and will be elected to the Libbey Board of Directors effective August 1, 2011. Previously, she has served on the US Olympic Committee Board of Directors. Prior to that, she was Chairman, President, & CEO of Banta, a $1.6 billion global market leader in printing and supply-chain management. Streeter currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Kohl's, the Green Bay Packers, and Catalyst, a premier non-profit working to expand opportunities for women in business.

Williams Sonoma announced that its Board of Directors has elected Rose Marie Bravo, 60, to the company's Board. Previously, Bravo served as CEO of Burberry Group from 1997 to 2006 and then as Vice Chairman until 2007. Prior to Burberry, Bravo was President of Saks Fifth Avenue and Chairman & CEO of the I. Magnin Specialty Division at R.H. Macy & Co. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at The Estee Lauder Companies and Tiffany & Co. Bravo was named the most powerful woman in fashion by Time Magazine in 2004 and was included in the Forbes list of "The 100 Most Powerful Women in the World" in 2005. 

Food

The international spirits producer Pernod Ricard has announced that Anna Malmhake has been appointed as Chairman, CEO, and a member of the Board of its subsidiary Irish Distillers. Previously, Miller has served in a variety of positions at Motorola, Temo AB, The Coca Cola Company, P&G, and the Absolut Company.

Campbell Soup Company announced that Denise Morrison, 57, has been promoted from EVP & COO to President & CEO. Morrison was elected to the company’s Board as a Director in 2010. She succeeds Douglas Conant, 60, who is stepping down after a decade in that role. Morrison began her career at P&G in 1975 and later held positions at PepsiCo, Nestle USA, Kraft, and Nabisco. She joined Campbell in 2003 as Chief Customer Officer and was appointed as President of Campbell USA in 2005. She also served on the boards of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Ballard Power Systems.

Drugs & Biotech

GNC Holdings announced that Amy Lane, 56, has joined its Board of Directors. She replaces Beth Kaplan, who has resigned from the company. Lane was a Founder and Group Leader of the Global Investment Banking Group of Merrill Lynch. Previously, she was a Managing Director at Salomon Brothers, specializing in the retail industry. She began her career as a Corporate Finance Generalist at Morgan Stanley. Lane has also served as a director of TJX and Boarders. 

Leisure

MakeMusic, a music software provider, announced that its Board of Directors has selected Karen van Lith, 51, as its President, CEO, and Director. For the past three years van Lith has provided interim CEO leadership to companies in start-up, high growth, and crisis phases in addition to running her own internet marketing services company. From 2000 through 2007, she held the role of CEO & President of Gelco Information Network, a SaaS company. Prior to that she was president of Ceridian Canada and SVP of Business Development at Ceridian. Van Lith currently serves as a corporate director of Associated Banc-Corp, a regional bank holding company, and Xata, a publicly-held SaaS company serving the trucking industry. She also served on the board of CNS, a consumer goods company.

Others

The engineering, construction, and services company KBR announced the election of Linda Cook, 52, as a member of its Board. Cook retired from her role as Executive Director at Royal Dutch Shell in 2009. Cook held numerous senior roles during her nearly 30 year tenure with the company and eventually worked her way up to the Royal Dutch Shell Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Cook currently serves as a board member at The Boeing Company and Cargill.

Ballantyne Strong announced that Donde Plowman has been appointed as a new member of the company's Board of Directors. Plowman is currently the Dean of the College of Business Administration and a Professor of Management at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Prior to being named Dean, she was a Professor of Business and head of the Department of Management at the University of Tennessee. She began her tenure at University of Texas - San Antonio in 1988. Plowman has published more than 40 articles and book chapters and has conducted numerous management training programs at corporations including IBM, Apple, and Texas Instruments.

Command Security announced that Janet Steinmayer replaced Laurence Levy on the company's Board of Directors. Currently, she serves as CEO of Appleseed, a company which provides marketing, branding, and strategic advice to food retailers, restaurants, and entrepreneurs. From 2006 to 2009, Steinmayer served as President, CEO, and a member of the Board of Directors of Centerplate, a hospitality company in North America which provides services to the National Football League, Major League Baseball, major convention centers, arenas, performing arts centers, museums, and ski resorts.
