Executive Reorganization at US Telecom Company
Sprint Nextel is merging its consumer, enterprise sales, and marketing divisions, a move which has resulted in the departure of four executives. As part of the overhaul, Robert Johnson, Head of Sprint's Consumer Business, John Carney, Head of Consumer Marketing, Danny Bowman, President of Sprint's Machine-to-Machine Business Unit, Chris Rogers, a Sprint executive who worked on corporate development and spectrum, are all leaving the company.
Paget Alves, currently Sprint's President of Business Markets, will now serve as Chief Sales Officer. Bill Malloy, the former EVP of U.S. Operations for AT&T Wireless, has been named as Sprint’s Chief Marketing Officer. Matt Carter, currently Head of Sprint's Wholesale Business, will take over the carrier's M2M portfolio.
VPs Selected at Israel Telecom Company
Cellcom Israel promoted Amos Maor, 47, to VP of Sales & Service from his previous role as VP of Operations & Supply Chain. Before joining Cellcom Israel, Maor served as Manager of Supply Chain at Elite Industries.
The company also appointed Keren Shtevy as the Company's VP of Business Customers. Before joining the company, she served as Netvision's VP of Private Customers.
Partner Communications Selects New COO
Partner Communications promoted Menahem Tirosh, one of the company’s founding partners, to COO. Most recently, he served as the VP of Technologies. Prior to founding the company, Tirosh was the CEO of Schema, a developer of optimization solutions for cellular networks. Earlier in his career, he served as the CEO of the Outsmart and TTI Telecom.

NetApp Promotes SVP to CFO
NetApp has promoted Nicholas Noviello, 42, as EVP of Finance & CFO. Most recently, he served as the company’s SVP of Finance & Global Controller. Before joining NetApp, Noviello held several finance positions at Honeywell, including VP of Finance for the Aerospace Air Transport division, VP of Investor Relations, Director of Corporate Finance & CFO for the Friction Materials division, and Director of Corporate Finance & M&A.
Computer Peripherals Manufacturer Adds to Board
Rimage, a provider of digital publishing and archiving solutions, named Robert Olson, 55, to its Board. Currently, he is the Chairman of Swift Knowledge, a business analytics software company focused on the banking and finance markets. Earlier in his career, Olson was also Chairman & CEO of Stellent, an enterprise content management software company that was sold to Oracle in 2006. He began his career at 3M.
