IT Services Leadership Changes - March/April 2011

General Manager Placements

Computer Services announced that R. Stanley Eckenberg was named President and COO of CSI. Mr. Eckenberg joined CSI in 1992 as Director of Special Projects. Before joining CSI, he was Senior Account Executive for Xerox Corporation and also served as Branch Manager for Unisys Corporation.

GSI Commerce announced the appointment of John Healy as CEO of MBS Insight. Healy began his career in consumer packaged goods at Pepsi and then expanded his focus to marketing services when he joined ADVO, the nation's largest direct mail organization. He also held senior leadership positions with well established marketing services companies, including R.L. Polk, Equifax, DoubleClick and PRIMIS Marketing Group.

CSC announced that Alisoun Moore has joined the company as VP & GM for its North American Public Sector (NPS) Health Services Division. Moore served as director of health systems management in Northrop Grumman Corporation's health information technology programs. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Moore held a number of CIO roles in state and local governments including the State of Maryland, and served as the health IT lead for the National Organization of Counties and for Public Technology.

GSI Commerce announced the appointment of Joe Gagnon as president of e-Dialog. Earlier this year, Gagnon joined e-Dialog as chief client officer and EVP of Product Marketing, before being named its president. Gagnon joined e-Dialog from Exit41, where he served as CEO. Prior to Exit41, he was VP, global leader of IBM's Business Consulting Retail Industry business leading overall strategy, direction and business operations. Earlier in his career, Gagnon was a consulting partner at E&Y.

CACI International announced that it has appointed Daniel D. Allen as COO for U.S. Operations. Mr. Allen comes to CACI from Northrop Grumman, where he served as Sector VP and GM of the company's Intelligence Systems Division, the largest division in Northrop Grumman's Information Systems Sector. Mr. Allen also served as SVP and Deputy to the President of General Dynamics Information Technology, where he led the delivery of enterprise services to the intelligence, DoD, federal, civilian, commercial, and international marketplaces.

CIO Placement

CIBER named Eric Goldfarb as EVP and CIO. Goldfarb, 46, was an EVP, executive committee member and CIO at BearingPoint from 2006 to 2010. In this role, he was responsible for redefining the mission of and setting the priorities for the IT organization. Goldfarb is a widely published thought leader in the discipline of applying information technology to business needs. He is co-author of several books including Ways to Reduce IT Spending, (2004). His articles have appeared in Computerworld and CIO Magazine.

Financial Function Placements

CIBER named Claude Pumilia, a former HP senior financial officer, as CFO effective April 4, 2011. Pumilia, 43, has held senior finance and leadership roles with CA, HP, and Compaq. Pumilia held positions with McKinsey performing strategy and valuation assignments, with Baker & Botts representing private and public corporate clients in business transactions and with Andersen advising financial and energy clients. Most recently, he served as CFO for the City and County of Denver since 2007.

Rackspace Hosting announced the appointment of Karl Pichler as Acting CFO and Principal Financial Officer. Pichler will serve on an interim basis while the company conducts a search for the position. Pichler will replace Bruce Knooihuizen who announced his retirement. Pichler joined Rackspace's EMEA team in April of 2009 and has served as Rackspace's CFO, International and Global Treasury since February.

Services Delivery Placements

CACI International hired Keith L. Salzman, MD to serve as Chief Medical Information Officer within its Transformation Solutions Group and to support the continued expansion of CACI's presence in the healthcare information technology (IT) and clinical informatics arenas. In his previous position as Chief Medical Information Officer at Madigan Army Medical Center, Dr. Salzman established the premier Informatics Division in the Military Health System, a global medical network within the Department of Defense that provides healthcare to all U.S. military personnel worldwide.

CSC has named Jose Jimenez chief diversity officer. Jimenez was previously the president of CSC's North American Public Sector (NPS) Strategy and Development division. Prior to that, Jimenez served as president of the Enforcement, Security and Intelligence Group. He joined CSC in 1999 through its acquisition of Nichols Research and Welkin Associates, where he was president of national programs for Nichols and a VP and business unit leader for Welkin. Jimenez served 20 years in the U.S. Navy.

ManTech has named Daniel J. Keefe SVP for strategic initiatives in its Technical Services Group (TSG). Before entering civilian industry, Keefe completed a distinguished U.S. Army career, retiring as a brigadier general in 2005. He was commanding general of all U.S. forces in Kosovo and V Corps chief of staff during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Most recently, Keefe was SVP and GM in L-3 Communications MPRI division.

SapientNitro, part of Sapient, announced the appointment of Stephen Mui as executive creative director of its Shanghai office. Mui will lead a team of traditional and digital creatives to develop integrated creative strategies for clients such as Mars, Volvo, NBA China, Unilever and Coca-Cola. Mui brings with him 25 years of marketing and advertising experience from Leo Burnett and JWT, as well as a global perspective attained from having worked in China, Hong Kong, and the United States.

She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
