New CEO, CTO & President at GSI Commerce’s Subsidiaries

GSI Commerce subsidiary MBS Insight has named John Healy, 51, as CEO. He reports to Chris Saridakis, 42, CEO of GSI’s GMS division. Healy earlier served as CEO of Dydacomp. Healy began his career at Pepsi and then expanded his focus to marketing services when he joined ADVO, a direct mail organization. He has also held senior leadership positions with marketing services companies, including R.L. Polk, Equifax, DoubleClick, and PRIMIS Marketing Group.

Digital marketing industry veteran, Simone Barratt is promoted to President of GSI Global Marketing Services (GMS) International following 10 years as Managing Director of subsidiary e-Dialog. In addition to developing an international presence & providing strategic leadership for GMS product portfolio, she will continue in her role as MD of e-Dialog.

e-Dialog announced a new CTO, Christian Wright. He joins the Co. from Alterian, a provider of cross-channel customer engagement solutions where he served as Chief Solutions Officer for Managed Services. Prior to Alterian, Wright was CTO & SVP of Enterprise Technology Group, Merkle, a CRM marketing agency.

Long-timer at IBM Joins Unisys Board

Lee Roberts, 57, President & CEO of BlueWater Consulting has joined the board of Unisys. Roberts is also Director on the board of QAD. Prior to BlueWater, he served as GM & VP for Document, Content, and Business Process Management at IBM. He also held the title of Chariman & CEO of FileNET from 2000 to 2006, up until its acquisition by IBM. Roberts joined FileNET in 1997 after spending twenty years at IBM, where he held numerous senior management, sales, and marketing roles.

Systemax Terminates Services of its Tech Group’s CEO and Family Takes Over

Systemax named Robert Leeds, 54, to serve as Interim Chief Executive, Technology Products, after the company terminated the services of Gilbert Fiorentino, 50, due to allegations of impropriety from an unidentified source. Fiorentino has been placed on administrative leave. Robert Leeds reports to his brother, Chairman & CEO Richard Leeds. Robert was the founding CEO of Systemax’s Technology Products business and currently services as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors. He has previously held titles such as Co-president and head of Domestic Operations.

Veteran in Complex Software Solutions Taken by CIBER

CIBER named Jayant Mehta as VP of CIBER Business Solutions. Mehta comes to CIBER from Infosys Technologies and has more than 23 yrs exp. in sales & delivery of complex software solutions globally. Mehta held senior executive roles at IBM, United Health, Becton Dickinson, TCS, and Satyam.

CSI Creates New Position

Financial services provider Computer Services (CSI) announced the selection of Paul Koziarz as VP of Corporate Development Officer (CDO). He was President of Financial Technology, a Chicago-based company that provided financial management and decision support systems which serves 2,000 banks worldwide. Koziarz was also a Vice President with HNC Software and has done extensive financial consulting.

Ata’s Re-organization Changes COO’s role

Ata announced that the company has changed Bennie Lin’s title from COO to consultant. Prior to Ata, Lin served as GCR Director at Microsoft and GM & VP at HP China.

CornerWorld Adds New Responsibilities to its CMO

CornerWorld announced that Marc Pickren, 39, was named President. Pickren was CMO & President of Enversa. Pickren is founder of The Leadstream, which focuses on display, organic search, and content marketing for large media agencies and the Fortune 1000.

Dora Vell is the Managing Partner of Vell Executive Search, a boutique executive search firm in Boston focused on recruiting technology executives and board members. Vell is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Boston CEO Roundtable. She has served on the boards of Framingham State, Entrepreneur's Organization, Goodwill, Mary Centre for developmentally handicapped adults, garage.ca, and RBC Capital Partners.

She has received an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Carleton. She has also completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s program.
