Major Executive Shuffle at AOL

Jeff Levick, 40, has announced his retirement from AOL after a two year stint as the company’s President of Global Advertising & Strategy. Prior to AOL, Levick spent six years at Google where he last served as VP of Industry Development and Marketing for the Americas.

Regional CEO Selected at Management Consulting and Technology Services Company

Accenture has named Jorge Benitez, 51, as MD of North America and CEO of the United States. For the past five years, Benitez has served as COO of Accenture's Products Operating Group. He was recently named to Hispanic Business Magazine’s "2011 Top 25 Corporate Elite" list. In 2004, the publication selected him as one of the 100 most influential Hispanics in the US.

HP Promotes Division Executives

HP has promoted Stephen DiFranco, former GM of the Solutions Partner Organization, to the role of SVP & GM for the Americas region of its Personal Systems Group (PSG). DiFranco joined HP from Lenovo, where he served as VP of Consumer and Commercial Channels. Prior to Lenovo, DiFranco held senior marketing positions at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Maxtor. DiFranco will replace Stephen DeWitt, who has been named SVP & GM of the webOS Global Business Unit. Prior to his promotion, DeWitt was leading the Personal Systems Group Americas region. He joined the company in 2008.

AT&T Labs Gets New CEO

AT&T Labs announced the appointment of Krish Prabhu, 56, as President and CEO. Prabhu replaces retiring President and CEO Keith Cambron, who has led AT&T Labs since 2005. Prabhu’s telecom career began in 1980 at the former AT&T Bell Labs. He has previously served as CEO of Alcatel USA and Tellabs.

Qualcomm Expands Exec’s Role to Include CTO Responsibilities

Qualcomm, a wireless communication components company, announced the appointment of Matt Grob as EVP and CTO. In addition to his new responsibilities, Grob will continue to lead Qualcomm's Corporate R&D division and provide oversight to Qualcomm’s Corporate Engineering Services. Grob joined Qualcomm in 1991 as an engineer.

Doreen Wright, 54, has been selected to serve as a Director of Crocs, a leading footwear company. Wright is currently retired and most recently served as SVP & CIO of Campbell Soup Company. From 1999 to 2001, she served as EVP & CIO for Nabisco. Wright currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dean Foods Company, a leading food and beverage company, and Citadel Broadcasting, the largest pure play radio company in the United States. She has also served on the boards of The Oriental Trading Company, Yankee Candle Company, and Conseco.

International Paper Company announced the election of Joan Spero, 66, to its Board of Directors. In the past, Spero has served in the U.S. Department of State as Undersecretary for Economic, Business, and Agricultural Affairs and as Ambassador to the UN for Economic and Social Affairs. She has also held leadership positions in Corporate Strategy and Corporate Affairs at American Express and served as President of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. Spero is currently a Senior Research Scholar at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a member of IBM’s Board of Directors. Previously, she served on the board of directors at the ING Group, Delta Air Lines, and First Data.

While she will step down from her day-to-day management of the HP Enterprise Business, Livermore will continue to contribute valuable guidance to the organization as a member of the Board.

GameStop Lands Ex-Microsoft Talent

GameStop, a video game retail company, announced the appointment of Shane Kim, 48, to its Board of Directors. Kim is a video game industry veteran who has spent the majority of his career at Microsoft. Most recently, he served as Corporate VP for the Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) division. While at Microsoft, Kim led the delivery of some of the industry's most renowned franchises including Halo, Gears of War, Fable, and Forza Motorsport as well as the innovative Xbox LIVE technology. Since retiring in 2010, he has actively advised several technology and digital media companies.

New Board Members at Unisys & CIBER

Unisys announced that Alison Davis, 48, has been elected to its Board of Directors and its Finance Committee. Most recently, Davis was a Managing Partner at Belvedere Capital Partners, a private equity firm serving the financial services sector. Prior to joining Belvedere, she served as CFO and Director of Corporate Development for Barclays Global Investors and was a Senior Partner at A.T. Kearney. She began her career at McKinsey & Company.
