GameStop Lands Ex-Microsoft Talent
GameStop, a video game retail company, announced the appointment of Shane Kim, 48, to its Board of Directors. Kim is a video game industry veteran who has spent the majority of his career at Microsoft. Most recently, he served as Corporate VP for the Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) division. While at Microsoft, Kim led the delivery of some of the industry's most renowned franchises including Halo, Gears of War, Fable, and Forza Motorsport as well as the innovative Xbox LIVE technology. Since retiring in 2010, he has actively advised several technology and digital media companies.

Mercedes Johnson, 56, has joined as Director on the Board of Juniper Networks. Johnson served as SVP & CFO at Avago Technologies and as SVP & CFO at Lam Research. She also previously held executive leadership and management roles at Applied Materials, Nanometrics, NCR, and HP.

Telecom Veteran Selected to Health Services Board
John Gerdelman, 58, has joined as Director on the Board of healthcare supplies and solutions company Owens & Minor. He currently serves as President of telecom provider, Long Lines. Before Long Lines, he was Executive Chairman and Co-founder of Intelliden, a network solutions provider acquired by IBM in 2010. Gerdelman has over 15 years of experience with MCI Communications and serves on the boards of directors of Brocade Communications Systems, Sycamore Networks, and Proxim Wireless.
