Prior to joining Active Network, Dejanovic served as the EVP, Global CIO, and Head of Product at Monster Worldwide. Before Monster, Dejanovic was SVP & CTO at The Tribune Company for more than a decade.

Chief Architect Selected at Salesforce.com Subsidiary

Heroku, a cloud PaaS provider, has announced that Yukihiro Matsumoto, 46, will join the company as Chief Architect of Ruby, an open source programming language which Matsumoto created. He will also continue to work as a research fellow at the Network Applied Communication Laboratory and the Rakuten Institute of Technology.

Qualcomm Expands Exec’s Role to Include CTO Responsibilities

Qualcomm, a wireless communication components company, announced the appointment of Matt Grob as EVP and CTO. In addition to his new responsibilities, Grob will continue to lead Qualcomm's Corporate R&D division and provide oversight to Qualcomm’s Corporate Engineering Services. Grob joined Qualcomm in 1991 as an engineer.
