Intel Shuffles Management
Intel announced that Andy Bryant, 61, Intel’s Vice Chairman and Chairman-in-waiting, has assumed the Executive Chairman role. Most recently, Bryant served as the CAO & EVP of Technology, Manufacturing, and Enterprise Services. During his tenure at Intel, he has also served as the Systems Group Controller, VP & Director of Finance for the Intel Products Group, and SVP & CFO of Enterprise Services. Prior to Intel, he held senior roles with Ford and Chrysler.

Executive Reorganization at Microsoft
Microsoft announced that Robert Wahbe, the Corporate VP of the Server & Tools Marketing Group, has resigned from the company. Wahbe has been with the Server and Tools Group during his entire tenure at Microsoft. He joined Microsoft in 1996 after Microsoft acquired Colusa Software, a startup which he founded. Takeshi Numoto, the former Corporate VP of the Microsoft Office Product Management Group, has assumed Wahbe’s former title. Numoto joined Microsoft in 1997 as a Business Development Manager on the Windows NT Program Management Team.

Big Tech Changes at HP
HP announced that Shane Robison, 56, is retiring as EVP and Chief Strategy & Technology Officer. Robison was also responsible for the company’s strategy and corporate development efforts, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, intellectual property licensing, and partnerships. Robison came to HP from Compaq, where he served as the SVP of Technology and CTO. Prior to joining Compaq, he served as the President of Internet Technology and Development at AT&T Labs. He has also held senior positions at Cadence Design Systems and Apple Computer.

New Chief Medical Officer at Dell
Dell announced that Dr. Andrew Litt has been named as the company’s new Chief Medical Officer. Most recently, Litt served as the Head of Litt Healthcare Ventures, a consulting firm for private equity firms seeking to invest in healthcare. Prior to Litt Healthcare Ventures, he was EVP, Vice Dean & Chief of Staff of New York University’s Langone Medical Center. Before assuming the title of EVP, he served as Vice Chair for Financial Affairs in the Medical Center's Department of Radiology. Litt is a Board Member of CareCore National, a company which provides utilization and quality management programs for managed care companies.

Chairman of Emerson Electric on IBM Board
IBM announced that it has elected David Farr, 56, to the company’s Board of Directors. Currently, Farr is the Chairman and CEO of Emerson Electric. He also sits on the boards of the Boy Scouts of America and the Municipal Theater Association of St. Louis. He has been with Emerson for more than 25 years and has held a variety of roles, including SVP, COO, Manager of Investor Relations, VP of Corporate Planning and Development, President of the Ridge Tool Division, and Group VP for the Industrial Components and Equipment Business. Earlier in his career, Farr served as a director for the United Way of Greater St. Louis and DPH Holdings Corporation.

Facebook Exec Joins eBay Board
eBay announced that Katie Mitic is joining the company's Board of Directors. She currently leads Platform and Mobile Marketing for Facebook. Prior to joining Facebook, Mitic served as SVP of Global Product Marketing at Palm, where she oversaw hardware and software product management and marketing. Before Palm, she was the VP & GM at Yahoo! Currently, Mitic serves on the Board of Special Olympics International.

MetLife Recruits New Head of Global Technology
MetLife announced that Martin Lippert has been appointed as EVP and Head of Global Technology. Most recently, Lippert served as Chief Operations and Technology Officer for Citigroup. Prior to joining Citigroup, he spent more than 10 years as Vice Chairman and Group Head of Global Technology and Operations for the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Lippert began his career in the IT department of Mellon Bank, where he most recently served as EVP of Information Management & Research.

Dun & Bradstreet, a leading supplier of business information services, announced that Douglas Kehring was elected to its Board of Directors. Currently, Kehring is SVP of Corporate Development & Strategic Planning for Oracle, the world's largest enterprise software company and a leading provider of computer hardware products and services. Prior to joining Oracle, he was an Associate at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and RBC Dain Rauscher.

Oracle Veteran Assumes CFO Title
Oracle announced that Oracle President Safra Catz, 49, will assume the additional responsibility of CFO. Catz's appointment follows the resignation of the company's current CFO, Jeff Epstein, 53. The company announced that Catz's appointment is permanent. Catz joined Oracle Corporation in April 1999 and has been President since January 2004. She has been a member of Oracle's Board of Directors since October 2001. She previously served as the company's CFO from November 2005 to September 2008. Catz also serves as a non-executive Director of HSBC Group, a position she has held since May 2008. Prior to Oracle, Katz worked for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as a Managing Director.
