Colgate–Palmolive Elects Google Exec to its Board
Colgate-Palmolive has elected Nikesh Arora, 44, to its Board of Directors. Currently, he serves as the SVP & Chief Business Officer of Google. Before being named SVP, he was the President of Global Sales Operations & Business Development, President of EMEA, and VP of Europe Operations. Before joining Google, Arora served as Chief Marketing Officer of the T-Mobile International Division of Deutsche Telekom. Prior to that, he was the CEO & Founder of T-Motion, which later merged with T-Mobile International. Earlier in his career, Arora served as the VP & CFO of Fidelity Technologies. He currently serves as a Director of Bharti Airtel, a leading Indian telecommunications company.

Coca-Cola Appoints Former Yahoo! Director
Coca-Cola has elected Robert Kotick, 48, to its Board. Kotick is the President & CEO of Activision Blizzard, a global interactive entertainment software leader and video game publisher. He became a partial owner of the company in 1990 and became CEO in 1991. From 2003 to 2008, Kotick served as a Director of Yahoo! Currently, he is a director at the Center for Early Education, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Tony Hawk Foundation.

Former IBM GM on Biopharma Board
Celgene has elected Dr. Richard Barker to its Board of Directors. Most recently, he served as the Director General of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). Earlier in his career, Barker was the CEO of Chiron Diagnostics, a biopharma company specializing in vaccines and blood testing. Before joining Chiron, he served as the GM of IBM's Worldwide Healthcare Solutions Division and as a Leader of McKinsey & Company's European Healthcare Practice.
