Eric Hippeau, 58 of Yahoo! Inc is resigning from the Board. He has served on Yahoo!’s Board since 1996.Through his deep global expertise in technology and content and strong leadership positions in the industry, he made invaluable contributions to the company and the Board.
John T. Gremp, 58 has joined FMC Technologies as President and CEO succeeding Peter D. Kinnear and additionally he has also joined the company’s board. Kinnear will continue in role of Chairman of the Board until October 31, 2011, at which time Gremp will assume the additional role of Chairman of the Board. Gremp was appointed President and COO of FMC Technologies in April, 2010. During his 35 year career, he has held a variety of management roles, recently serving as the Executive Vice President of Energy Systems in 2007 and Vice President Energy Production in 2004.
Michael R. Cannon, former President of Global Operations of Dell has joined the board of Seagate Technology. Cannon, 57 is an industry veteran with a 35-year career in high technology companies. He retired in January 2009 after serving as president, Global Operations of Dell from February 2007. Prior to Dell, Cannon worked as CEO of Maxtor Corp and served on its board from July 1996 until Seagate acquired Maxtor in May 2006. He held senior management positions at IBM before joining Maxtor. Cannon previously served on the Board of Directors of Seagate Technology from October 2006 until February 2007, on the Board of Directors of Adobe Systems, since 2003 and on the Board of Directors of Elster Group SE, a metering technology company, since September 2010.
